Sleeping With Your Cube Mate

I don’t know how many times an office relationship has ruined a perfectly fine working environment. I have seen too many problems caused by stupid people being unprofessional and soil their loins where they should not be soiled, at work. I have seen secretaries rise to high positions only because they are sleeping or even marrying a so called professional in a high position. Why do companies continue to let office relationships continue? Because companies are mainly operated by men and men have always thought with their dicks.

Yes, so when you see two people going out after work for a drink you will know that they are really going to a motel and exchanging body fluids. Why are us humans so stupid to eat where we shit? Maybe we should start early and teach are children to not be whores; well at least not at work. Besides do you really want to see the person you’re sleeping with 24/7. I would not want to feel obligated to take my lunches, breaks and car pool with a woman that I’m bumping and grinding. Take it from me, get a life outside of work and find a nice girl.

Who am I kidding? Get it when you can.

Western Cinema

Published by mrfrugal under Movies, Westerns, social Edit This

I love western movies. Westerns I would say are my favorite movie genre. Maybe I love westerns because they are truly culturally American. Nothing says America like Native Americans, cowboys, western deserts, horses and government corruption like the old west.

Top three westerns of all time are:

3) The Good the Bad and the Ugly – This is my favorite spagattii western, shot in Spain with Italian and Spanish actors except of the great Clint Eastwood this movie put drama were other westerns of the time were lacking. My favorite part of the movie was the showdown at the graveyard. Man that was great.

2) Dances with Wolves – Probably one the only Kevin Costner movies I enjoyed. This movie gave a true interpretation of the coming of the white man to the Midwest.

1) Tombstone - the best western by far. Tombstone gave an accurate depiction of the Wild West. The movie takes place in the silver mining town of Tombstone, Arizona. With an all-star cast as most modern westerns are today and great costumes the movie was the old west. Accurate storyline and lots of shooting with justice at the end is the way all westerns should end since most thugs in those days were killed before old age. Ah, what a grand time that must have been.

Do Not Marry an Italian Woman

Published by mrfrugal under social, social issues Edit This

I have some issues with Italian women. Yes, I am married to an Italian; have been for the past seven years. Me being of a mutt race (German, Irish, Mexican, and I think some Cheyenne) I was unaware of what I was getting into. Don’t get me wrong, I love my wife but damn sometimes I feel like shaking the crap out of her. Let me give you three reasons to tell your son not to marry an Italian (first generation American) woman.

<!–[if !supportLists]–>1) <!–[endif]–>These women want to take total control of their men to set themselves to be the Alpha Male and Female. This mindset goes back to the old country because the men are mamma’s boys in there homeland. The guys stay a hold to their mother’s tits way too long and want women who are like their mother. However, the opposite is true in Sicily. On a side note, first generation Americans males that are of Italian decent are not mamma’s boys, the opposite is true.

<!–[if !supportLists]–>2) <!–[endif]–>LAZY, these women want everything but do not want to get a full time job. Every one of the Italian women I know, the mature ones to do have real jobs. Working part-time at Sears at 53 is not a job. GET A REAL JOB LADIES. I made my wife get her full-time job back after my kids went to kindergarten. I told my wife that this is America, I work you work. Women and men in my eyes are equal. Is that not what burning bras in the sixties was about?

<!–[if !supportLists]–>3) <!–[endif]–>The women bitch all the time. Nothing is ever good enough. More, more, more is the only word these women know. Never any constructive criticism, just evil, vicious, rants about if they were a man they would be a better one then you.

Do yourself a favor buddy; marry a nice good full blooded 100% American girl with a nice rack.

Don’t Hate China, Well Maybe Just a Little

I do not hate China as much as some may believe. The concerns I have with China are its cheap products, human rights violations, pollution record and did I mention their cheap products. Okay, it’s true I am not a huge China fan but I do not hate them, at least not as much as the Russians. The Chinese are just trying to make up for lost time due to European colonization and Japanese aggression from the early 1930s until 1945. Hate China, no I am just a disappointed with them.

Let’s start with there cheap products. I hate when a product has “Made in China” printed on its underbelly. When the “Made in China” is on an item I know the product is of inferior quality. I just bought a toy gun for my son at Disneyland on Friday and by Saturday afternoon the toy gun was broken. The toy gun broke when my son was using it under normal use. I also bought a rake and it broke after I used it once. The rake didn’t fall apart but it the handle became lose. My list goes on and on. Except for clothing or plush toys stay away from the “Made in China” products.

China’s human right record speaks for itself. Where should we start, how about in Tibet? Nah let us begin with the Tiananmen Square massacre of 1989. You no what, I want to start with the censorship of its people. Let’s not get started with the way they treat Muslims in the most eastern provinces. I can write a book on the human right violations so if you have not heard about them, then Google them. The only killing the Chinese have justified at least in my mind was disposing of all its druggy’s by putting a bullet in each of their heads and monitoring their borders for drug trafficking.

I’ll speak of their pollution problem (the US is not any better) tomorrow when I point the finger not only at China but all of us humans.

Holiday Products Sold Early

My family and I went to Costco yesterday and we were appalled to see that Costco is already selling Halloween merchandise in the month of August. Well, at least I was appalled; my son was trying to have me buy an inflatable skeleton. I have also seen some Christmas merchandise being sold at some major warehouses such as Sam’s, Wal-Mart and Costco. Every year stores are selling holiday merchandise earlier and earlier and I am sick if it. Not only does all this holiday merchandise clutter the shelves at stores but it takes the meaning out the holidays.

Constantly seeing holiday products on the selves takes the fun and anticipation out of the holidays. I want to see Halloween products no earlier then the last week of September, not early August. Come on people, join me along with all my family members and not buy holiday products until the holiday is upon us. These stores must come to understand that we will not buy products just because they say it’s time to buy them. It’s bad enough that all our holiday products are made in godless China and break after one year but to be forced to see them three months out the year is too much.

Synchronized Diving is Not a Sport

COME ON!! Synchronized diving is not a sport. What on earth is the Olympic committee thinking putting synchronized diving as a sport? How does this promote competition? All I see on channel 4 is non-athletic men and women jumping on spring boards and getting wet. I say we write letters to the Olympic committee and demand they take “sports” such as table tennis, hand ball, and trampoline jumping and yes synchronized diving out of the beloved games. Yes, I know there are many more so called sports but we must start with the ones that piss me off the most.

The Chinese would hate to see these so called sports leave the Olympics since they are currently winning them all and probably will continue to win for years to come. I was so happy that Liu Xiang was going to attempt to win an actual metal in the 110 meter hurdles rather then sports where judges say who is a gold medalist. Sincerely, I was upset that he could not race due to a leg injury. I was upset because Liu Xiang is a real athlete unlike the table tennis gold medalists.

If you take away these so called sports out the Olympics the Chinese would be in third place behind the dirty Russians. I’m not here to bash on the Chinese; fencing should be kicked out also. I would not be proud to say I was an Olympic champion in table tennis or synchronized diving. Sports should be a competition between individuals and teams facing off against each other rather than trying to impress judges. I am writing a letter (e-mail) to Channel 4 and demanding them to keep diving and the rest of the worthless crappy corner bar activities off the air.

And yes, Russians are the scum of the earth.

Smart Grocery Shopping

I just read an article on MSN’s webpage stating that the price of food will not go down because fuel costs are dropping. The media will do anything for ratings; don’t not be fooled by the media when word that higher food prices are here to stay. I don’t know if my blog today should be about the price at the grocery market or how the media scares people just to get ratings. I think food and your wallet are in my heart today, so here we go.

1) I am spending no more than $60 a week on groceries with a family of three. My basket includes meats (mainly chicken), lots of cereals, vegetables and fruits. What more can you ask for in your grocery basket? One thing, buy on sale and BUY A COOK BOOK!! Don’t make the same dishes day in and day out because your kids will hate you at the end of the day. Make sure if there are good sales to stock up a little. Put the extra meats in the freezer.

2) DON’T buy junk food. What’s junk food you ask? Junk food for the most part is that processed crap you see in the freezer section of your grocery store. These foods are loaded with sodium (salt) and high in carbohydrates. Unless you need the energy because you’re doing manual labor or running a marathon stay away from these foods. Others you ask? Potato chips, candy, bakery goods and sodas. All these named items are not only bad for your health they are sold at a premium compared to healthier foods. A box of eight doughnuts is $3.79 here in Southern California compared to a $3 for four pounds of bananas.

3) Research what two grocery markets will be your best bet. I commend you on going to five different markets to get the best deals but if you are wasting money on gas and a lot of time going from one store to the other then why bother?

4) Before you go to the grocery store make a list of what you need and stick to the list. Also, eat something before going to the supermarket. A lot of times you only buy a product because your stomach is telling you it’s hungry. And last but not least Russia should be wiped from the earth.

Russia’s Invasion of Georgia

The Russian’s have been a scorn upon this earth since the beginning of civilization. From Ivan the Terrible in the 1500s to the communist pigs of the 20th century we have been putting up with these uncultured swine for to long. How much longer must the world suffer because mother Russia has an identity crisis? The Russians don’t even know whether to call themselves Europeans or Asians. So, let me get this straight; the world suffers because the people of Russia to not have the courage to stand up to corruption from their power hungry politicians/Tsars. How long will it be until the Russians turn their sites on Ukraine or Belarus if we do not take action?

The Russian are a weak people, the Russians will have you think that they beat Napoleon and single handily destroyed Hitler’s Germany. Well, they didn’t, the crappy weather of Russia was the hero. There was no courage involved just a waiting game for their horrible weather to take its toll on the advancing armies. Maybe I shouldn’t be too hard on Russians because if I lived in that awful hell of a country I would be an ass too. Okay, enough of my rants; what are we going to do about Russia?

Let’s face it; we are over stretched from the conflict in Afghanistan and the blunder in Iraq. So, what can we do? We arm the crap out of Eastern Europe and make the soft EU pay most of the bill. I know this sounds far fetched but we can not just sit here and allow a military region pick on smaller countries. Dmitry Medvedev and Putin (well just Putin) must be stopped. The power of Russia relies on the bullying of smaller countries, so let’s do what the Russian’s did to us in Vietnam and us them in Afghanistan. Have smaller countries with everything to lose fight.

Or we can pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq, rebuild for two years and start puffing our chests. That usually works.

Nix That Credit Card Debt - 2nd

Okay, do you have those credit card transfer checks that were given to you with a low percentage rate?  If not, please read my last blog to get started.  The rates for these credit card transfer checks are far lower than your credit card annual percentage rate (APR). But hold on there buddy, these transfer checks may offer a 4% APR on all transfers but for only a limited time. Let me explain.

When I first got these checks I thought my problems were solved.  I could just transfer my highest APR to my new lower APR credit card. Not quite, little did I know that after six months (which is still good) my APR jumped from 2.99% to 23.99% (which is bad) on my balance transfers. OUCH!!! I should have read the fine print. And to make matters worse I had to pay off the high APR transfer balance after my beginning balance was gone. So I was paying off the lower APR before the 23.99% was even touched.  That defies my reasoning. I felt like an idiot.

But wait, I learned to use these checks to my advantage.  You ready?

1)      Get these checks and transfer only what you can payoff in four months and pay that balance first.  The reasoning is instead of paying let’s say 15.99% on your highest APR card you will now pay 2.99%.  I use four months instead of the full six months because I never paid off the balance in four months, it took me usually five to five and a half months to pay off my balance.

2)      DO NOT BITE OFF MORE THAN YOU COULD CHEW!!!  Start off small your first time let’s say $500 and you will be amazed at how low you credit card debt will go and how much your credit score will improve.

Before long let’s say two years the credit card that had the highest APR will most likely be your lowest.  My Chase Visa card started off at 24.99% when I was a freshman in college, now it’s my go to card at 5.99%. The Chase was lower at 3.99% before I started getting advantage points on my card. But the APR doesn’t bother me anymore because I pay it off ever month now.

Tomorrow I let you know the ideal number of credit cards one should have, married and single.

I almost forgot; use these checks as any other checks. Just make the check payable to the next credit card on your list. And remember; do not bite off more than you can chew.
