Once again the unions are bringing down a US industry. The unions have been a burden on the US economy for more than forty years. These unions are greedy, lazy and unethical. The US auto industry would be in good shape if union painters didn’t make $95k a year or machine operators take home six figure salaries. I say the unions workers should take a pay cut to keep their jobs. I say “their jobs” because they sure as hell don’t care the company they work for. We as Americans should not buy union products. But hek, just wait a few years and there will be know union shops left to create products. I say damn the unions may the communist pigs burn.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of Gucci’s signature collection canvas purse. I bought this purse believing the higher the price tag the better quality I would receive. I purchased my wife the Gucci purse for Christmas last year and quickly became her favorite purse even though the Burberry was 35% more expensive. My wife would only take out her Gucci when we would go out to dinner with our friends or out with her friends for lunches. And of course the day I tell her to use her Gucci purse while dining with our friends she noticed a hole in the fabric located between Gucci signature bands. I must say we are very disappointed with the quality of Gucci.
On Saturday, December 6, 2008 my wife and I ventured to Costa Mesa’s South Coast Plaza Gucci store to verify if Gucci would stand by their product. To our dismay we were told that nothing could be done since the hole in the bag was not covered under Gucci’s repair policy. I have bought my wife several bags over the years including Coach, Burberry and Louis Vuitton which I have never had problems with their quality products. Gucci I believed was in that same category, sadly I was wrong. My wife did not snag the purse on any bench or her belt as the sales rep at South Coast stated. If you want to buy your wife a high “quality” purse then stick to Burberry or Coach.

I have a cousin that has never anything positive to say and today I got feed up and told him to lighten up or don’t come around my anymore. I’m tired of his negative attitude concerning everything under the sun. Today he had a problem about Obama being our next president and stated that a black person can not lead this country. One thing I hate more than all others in this world are racists. My cousin crossed the line when he said black people should not be allowed in the White House. So until he apologizes for his comments I will not talk to his sorry ass.
Don’t you hate it when you are having a good day and someone you care about whether it be you best friend or mother rags on life for no reason. If this happens to you on a weekly or even worse daily purpose do what I did, the hell with them.

Age creeps up on you. I was pretty athletic going up in Southern California; I jogged, lifted weights, played sports and was thin as a rake. If I received any injuries from my activities they would dissipate in less the two weeks depending on the injury of course. Now, as my Italian wife would say, “forget about it.” My injuries stay for months on end and my doctor must give me pain killers and anti-inflammatory medication just to relax me enough to get a good night sleep. And I am only in my early thirties.
Every time I go for a jog I hurt from the waist down when I return, not just from my muscles being worked but my knees, ankles and feet hurt. My lower back used to hurt but I remedied the situation jogging with my upper body straight and running less on my heels. But still everything from the waist down is aching and cracking. Why do I put myself though this torture, I am not going to run in the Olympics or run a marathon? Marathon? Hey, that sounds like a plan, maybe my athletic career isn’t over yet.

COME ON!! Synchronized diving is not a sport. What on earth is the Olympic committee thinking putting synchronized diving as a sport? How does this promote competition? All I see on channel 4 is non-athletic men and women jumping on spring boards and getting wet. I say we write letters to the Olympic committee and demand they take “sports” such as table tennis, hand ball, and trampoline jumping and yes synchronized diving out of the beloved games. Yes, I know there are many more so called sports but we must start with the ones that piss me off the most.
The Chinese would hate to see these so called sports leave the Olympics since they are currently winning them all and probably will continue to win for years to come. I was so happy that Liu Xiang was going to attempt to win an actual metal in the 110 meter hurdles rather then sports where judges say who is a gold medalist. Sincerely, I was upset that he could not race due to a leg injury. I was upset because Liu Xiang is a real athlete unlike the table tennis gold medalists.
If you take away these so called sports out the Olympics the Chinese would be in third place behind the dirty Russians. I’m not here to bash on the Chinese; fencing should be kicked out also. I would not be proud to say I was an Olympic champion in table tennis or synchronized diving. Sports should be a competition between individuals and teams facing off against each other rather than trying to impress judges. I am writing a letter (e-mail) to Channel 4 and demanding them to keep diving and the rest of the worthless crappy corner bar activities off the air.
And yes, Russians are the scum of the earth.

People of America, let me assure you that the people of Los Angeles are safe. In our neck of the woods we do not even consider a 5.4 magnitude an earthquake. We consider a 5.4 as just a tractor trailer passing to close to our houses. The media as with everything is blowing the situation out of proportion. I did not even get under my desk at work because the earth was not shaking enough for me.
It was funny however to see people at work that are from other parts of the country get scared as the earth starting shaking. One women started hyperventilating, as another was incapacitated from fright. But in the end both were excited that they were in an earthquake, especially in Los Angeles. The woman that was hyperventilating once she calmed down called her family in Virginia and expressed her feelings of excitement as the earth beneath her grumbled.
However, we Angelinos know an earthquake of any magnitude is no laughing matter and we veterans of earthquakes should always be prepared. I myself have enough bottled water, canned food, and medical supplies to last me five days. I also have cash on hand in dominations of ones and fives ($75 worth). Plus of course I take advantage to my right to bare arms. Yes, I am locked and loaded just in case riots brake out after an earthquake. I am prepared if I am near or away from my home and for those who aren’t, that’s your problem.

Hello fellow savers,
I am here to spread the word, the word that will help you during these tough economic times. Are you ready, here it is, the word of the day is SAVE. Save, what a wonderful word. Who do you know that does not like to save money, time, gas, energy (money), ice-cream for a late night snack? Even the so called high class snotty women like to save; how else will they pay for their plastic surgery.
I just received my electricity bill today and it was high for my standards, $102. I know that may be low for some during one of the hottest mid-June to mid-July months on record but that is the highest electricity bills in two years. Yes, the rates were raised by 5% from the previous year but that is no excuse for my failure on keeping my utility bills low. I have a plan though, I recently replaced all my recess lighting standard flood lights (60w) in my kitchen with four fluorescent flood lights. Not only will I save money from electricity from the lights being on but the fluorescent lights also give off way less heat than the standard 60w bulbs. That means less time my air conditioner will be on (can you hear the chi-ching).
And that is just the start; I plan on replacing all my recess light bulbs after this test run is over next month to see if it is worth me getting rid of 12 standard lights with the fluorescent bulbs. Remember, the fluorescent bulbs are about $9 for a pack of two at Home Depot compared to the standard $4.50 for a pack of two standard flood lights.
