But as far as synchronized swimming goes, I think there is a lot of athletic ability we can't see above the water. When they cut to the underwater shots, I am always amazed at how they perfectly twirl their bodies with such nice lines and precision. I dont' think we should be deceived by the smiles, makeup, and silly swimsuits - I think they deserve some credit for their actual talent.
